My name is J. David Lovejoy, and I'm a 25 year old visual artist, composer, and writer of fiction from Baltimore. Being left handed and born in the mid summer, I am technically a sinister Cancer. I'm a graduate of Friends School of Baltimore and Maryland Institute College of Art. I've been living in Philadelphia since 2007, and am currently working in the creative services department at a local vacation company. I also aspire to get into automotive design someday, as well as voice-acting.
When not at my day job, I am an active freelance web and graphic designer, working out simple contacts with clients who need affordable, attractive web, print, or other creative material. In all such ventures, I strive to find the ideal balance of speed and precision, providing clients with what they need, when they need it. While not doing business I spend my time keeping my creative juices flowing, staying informed about society, eating ethnic food, cooking my own, and spending time with people I care about. I also enjoy watching films and anime, and playing soccer and the discus.
You might ask: why "Renaissance Road"? It's just a road name that was in a dream I had. Sounded cool, and lovejoy.com was taken, so it stuck. I've maintained Renaissance Road since 2005 as an online portfolio; a clean, straightforward means of organizing my art, music, projects, and whatever else I feel like sharing with the world.
